In 1998, Dr. Jensen Yeung completed an Honours B. Sc. degree at McMaster University with almost a perfect GPA and multiple prestigious awards and scholarships. He then obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from McMaster University in 2001. In the same year, he began his dermatology residency training at the University of Toronto.

During his residency training, he spent 6 months in Australia, New York, and Boston gaining clinical experience and acquiring newest knowledge in the field of melanoma from leading experts. In 2005, he was selected by the residency program as the co-chief resident for the year.

Having obtained his board certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 2006, the university recruited Dr. Yeung as a member of the Faculty of Dermatology, where he coordinated teaching clinics at both Women's College Hospital and the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. In 2007, Dr. Yeung was promoted to the position of medical director for the RKS Dermatology Program at Women's College Hospital, where he currently runs a psoriasis, melanoma, and cosmetic clinic. To this day, Dr. Yeung maintains a very active role in teaching medical students, family medicine residents, internal medicine residents, plastic surgery residents, and dermatology residents within the university.

Dr. Yeung has appeared in numerous TV programs, radio shows, newspaper and magazine columns to educate the public on sun awareness, sunscreen, psoriasis, acne, eczema, skin cancers, skin aging, cosmetics, cosmetic procedures and many other skin related topics. Because of his extensive experience and knowledge in these areas of Dermatology, he serves as the spokesperson and consultant for a number of large pharmaceutical companies to develop campaigns and improve products that address the public's needs in Dermatology. He is also one of the few Chinese Dermatologists in Toronto that can communicate fluently in Cantonese and Mandarin.
